<dc:title>Nylon Sutures</dc:title>
<dc:description>Enclosed within a red cardboard case is a transparent glass jar, sealed with a metal lid. The jar features a white label inscribed in black ink, stating: ‘Fannin & Co. LTD. Surgical Instrument Manufacturers Dublin Silkworm Gut Surgical Ligature in Carbonised Solution COARSE 50 Strands Prepared in England.’ This label is replicated on both the cardboard case and the glass jar, however, the word ‘Silkworm’ on the cardboard has been manually corrected to ‘Nylon’. The glass jar houses light blue nylon threads, accompanied by a suture needle.</dc:description>
