  <dc:title>Silworm Gut Sutures in Case</dc:title>
<dc:description>The dark blue cylindrical cardboard case contains a clear glass jar with a metal lid. The white label on the jar reads in black and red ink: "Finest Selected Silk-Worm Ligatures Medium Prepared in London." Two additional small labels report "Sterilised" and "50." Inside, the preservative liquid is almost gone, and the sutures are tied on a wooden board. The same label is present on both the cardboard case and the glass jar.

Stains and corrosion are present, and the cardboard box is missing the flaps to close the short sides.</dc:description>
