The glass syringe itself features a black ink scale, ranging from 0 to 5ml on one side. Other markings include “D20°C” and “Chance Interchangeable Made in England.” The syringe has a removable plunger, branded at its tip, and a metal tip designed for record hypodermic needle attachment. A piece of cork protects the plunger from the bottom of the syringe.
