Ethilon Monofilament Sutures This item is a sealed, unused Ethicon Ethilon Mersuture. The package has a clear plastic side and a tin paper side, which are meant to be peeled apart to open. Inside, there is a smaller sealed package with black writing that says: “Ethilon Sterile Monofilament Polyamide 6 Suture Blue reverse cutting 26mm 18 in 3/0 B.P.C. 2 metric 45cm” in the white area and “320 Mersutures Eyeless Needled Suture *TM” in the light green area. Ethilon Mersutures are composed of a single strand, helping minimising tissue drag and reducing risk of infection.
