  <dc:title>Hot Weather Operating Mask</dc:title>
  <dc:description>This is a thin metal mask with two holes on either side of the upper portion. India rubber has been thread through the holes and tied as to wrap around head. The mask was designed to be used for operating in hot weather. A light gauze mask could be worn over it also, if the person desired. No manufacturer's mark present. Designed by Richard Edward Tottenham, who also presented this object.</dc:description>
