  <dc:description>The leather rectangular case contains one hypodermic syringe and a glass vial. The case interior is lined with brown textile at the bottom and purple textile at the top. This purple textile is frayed and deteriorating. The syringe is made of a glass barrel with a metal tip and a metal plunger. The glass barrel of the syringe presents a scale from 1 to 6 ml. The glass vial is stoppered and securely housed in the case. Presented by Dr. F. S. Bourke.</dc:description>
