<dc:title>A century of general practice - and after</dc:title>
<dc:description>Printed copy of 'A century of general practice - and after' by D W Macnamara, originally published in the Journal of the Irish Medical Association, January 1960. The article looks at the history and development of general practice, especially in Ireland from the mid-nineteenth century. Macnamara draws on his own families experiences as GPs in County Clare, and on the lecture notes taken by his grandfather and great uncle (see MFP/1 and MFP/2/2).

File also contains two copybooks with preparatory notes and drafts for the article by Dr Macnamara.</dc:description>
