Stafford House Committee Armband Textile armband. A Red Crescent in the centre and below, in black, the acronym "SHC" for Stafford House Committee. Two faded stamps on either side of this, one red and one blue, the former with "STAFFORD HOUSE COMMITTEE" surrounding Arabic writing. A row of three small metal eyelets at either end. Along one of these rows, the number "38" is stamped next to the handwritten name "Dr. Kirker". [1877]
