Incorporated Orthopaedic Hospital of Ireland This collection contains records of the Incorporated Orthopaedic Hospital of Ireland founded in 1876 by Dr Robert Lafayette Swan. The records include committee meeting minutes, financial records, and letter books of letters from and to the orthopaedic hospital. There is a small amount of material on patient admissions and discharge, one visitors book from the Ladies Committee, and one book of newspaper clippings which mostly pertain to actions of the hospital's committees. The bulk of the material is financial in nature and gives great detail on the intake and spending of the hospital's money. 1885-1975
