  <dc:description>Silver medal in black presentation box.  Obverse:  the crest and motto of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland surrounded by the words "COLLEGII MEDICORUM REGII HIBERNIAE".
Reverse:  in the centre, the words "The Sir Dominic Corrigan Medal" surrounded by the words "'Presented by the Corrigan Club &amp; the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland".  Also the maker's mark "JMCo" and hallmarks for Dublin, [1960].  On the inside lid of the box is the name "West &amp; Son/Goldsmiths and Silversmiths/Grafton House/Dublin".  The blue fabric inside has faded except for underneath where the medal lay.</dc:description>
