  <dc:description>Framed portraits of Sir Nathaniel Barry and his wife Lady Catherine Barry née Jones.  By an unknown artist.  Probably painted to mark their marriage in 1758.  Nameplates on both frames.  Barry served as President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland on three occasions:  1767-8, 1772-3 and 1775-6.  He was the eldest son of Sir Edward Barry (1696-1776) who was also a President of the College.</dc:description>
