Around the edge of the disc are the words "BRITISH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION" and in the centre, "82ND ANNUAL MEETING ABERDEEN 1914".  The medal bar reads "SECRETARY".  Words are a golden colour against a dark blue background and vice versa.  Maker's name HARDY'S ABERDEEN" on reverse side of disc.</dc:description>
