  <dc:description>Framed full-length portrait of Sir Dominic John Corrigan (1802-1880), seated at his desk with the RCPI President's robe beside him.  Signed by Catterson Smith and dated 186[3].  The back of the frame is inscribed "DOMINIC.I.CORRIGAN. M.D./President of the King and Queens College/and/Physician in Ordinary to the/Queen in Ireland./1863."  Also stamped (in reverse and upside down) "ROBERSON &amp; Co./51 Long Acre LONDON" and a printed label attached, which reads "[CHA]RLES ROBERSON &amp; COMPY./MANUFACTURERS OF/WATER AND OIL COLOURS,/[MATE]RIALS FOR DRAWING, PAINTING, &amp;c.,/51, LONG ACRE, LONDON."  Also a small, rectangular wooden nameplate [located separately in KS.SGR.B2.S3.C3], which reads "SIR DOMINIC JOHN CORRIGAN, BART., M.D./PRESIDENT 1859 TO 1863./BEQUEATHED TO THE COLLEGE/BY HIS DAUGHTER/LADY MARTIN".  Two nails through nameplate, one on left and one on right hand side.</dc:description>
