Royal College of Physicians of Ireland President's Chair A large chair carved from Irish oak, the raised back decorated with foliate scroll work, enclosing the shield of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, bearing the name T.E. Beatty and dated 1866, having upholstered back, seat and armrests in morocco, the armrest terminals carved with animal masks and raised on large paw feet. Presented by Dr. Thomas Edward Beatty (1799/1800-1872). 1866
