  <dc:title>Portrait of Sir Patrick Dun</dc:title>
<dc:description>Framed three-quarter length portrait of Sir Patrick Dun (1642-1713), seated in the red robes of Doctor of Physic of the University of Dublin, holding a book and letter in his hands. Oil on canvas. Nameplate on frame reads: "SIR PATRICK DUN/1642-1713/President/1681-86, 1690-93, 1696-97, 1698-99, 1706-07/Painted by Thomas Pooley (1646-1723)". When presented to RCPI in 1820, the work was recorded as painted by Sir Godfrey Kneller (1646-1723). However, the monogram TP on the work indicates that Pooley is the artist.</dc:description>
