  <dc:title>Sodium Biborate Jar</dc:title>
<dc:description>This is a stoppered jar containing Sodium Biborate, consisting of a clear glass, cylindrical stoppered jar. Based on the white typewritten label in black ink and the leftover white-powdery content, it contains "Sodium Biborate"and "Sodii Bibor. Dose: 5-30 grs.", with the dosage indicated as "Sodii Bibor. Dose: 5-15 grs." Inside, some of the original white powdery contents are still visible.
The bottom of the jar is embossed with "W" and "2OZ".

Sodium Biborate was historically used as an antiseptic and astringent, commonly prescribed to treat infections and inflammation. It was also used in medical settings to cleanse wounds and as a mild disinfectant. While its use has declined with the advent of more advanced antiseptics, it played a significant role in early medical treatments for these conditions.
