  <dc:title>'Tabloid' Brand Case</dc:title>
  <dc:description>This medicine case is made of hazelnut leather, with internal metal frames and a secure locking mechanism. Inside, each side of the case includes a leather pocket to hold medicines securely in place. One of these flaps bears the following inscription in gold: "TRADEMARK 'TABLOID' BRAND BURROUGHS WELLCOME &amp; CO. (THE WELLCOME FOUNDATION LTD.) LONDON (ENGL.) ASSOCIATED HOUSES: New York, Montreal, Sydney, Cape Town, Milan, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Bombay." 

Several vials/ampoules of various drugs were removed and discarded. One empty vial of 'Tabloid' Brand Strophanthus Tincture was kept and catalogued under FC/8/47.
