  <dc:title>Alexis FitzGerald </dc:title>
  <dc:description>Alexis FitzGerald was the son of Martin Fitzgerald, the grandson of Alexis FitzGerald (1748-1821) and the brother of Doctor James F FitzGerald. 
Alexis was the first to study medicine in the FitzGerald family, graduating in 1855. 

This series contains 29 Medical Certificates, awarded to him, by the Original School of Medicine, Mercer's Hospital Dublin, Charitable Informary Jervis Street and the Pathological Society of Ireland. 

The series also contains four book which are located in the library catalogue. They are;
