Copy of Fortescue's reply (15 November) promising to show the letter to the Lord Lieutenant and Prime minister. Letter from G G Glynn (22 May 1872) promising to speak to Gladstone on the subject of the fenian prisoners, but fearing 'there will be great difficulties'. Copy of Corrigan's reply (26 May 1872) setting out the case as he see its for their early release and stressing the support it will have in Ireland.</dc:description>
