  <dc:title>Reform of education in Ireland</dc:title>
<dc:description>Papers created or collected by Dominic Corrigan relating to education in Ireland. Corrigan was active in attempts to change the education system in Ireland from the 1860s until his death, he advocated a non-denominational system which offered the same quality to all. In terms of university education Corrigan supported the establishment of a National University for Ireland which would act as an examining body only, awarding degrees to anyone who passed the exams no matter where they studied. </dc:description>
