Handle is rounded and hollow, with the central portion having a circular section for grip. It is stamped with "Chrome-plate" and a logo with the letter "F".
Designed by German surgeon R. von Volkmann, it is an instrument used in small bone and joint procedures. It retracts the tissue to expose the surgical site. </dc:description>
