  <dc:description>Solid, lead-filled bone mallet with brushed-finished handle. On one side of the handle, the manufacturer's mark is present and additional manually inscribed is "Theatre". On the other side, the letter C is inscribed, along with "Theatre". Minor corrosion is present.  It is used in general operations for tapping the impacting platforms of several instruments involved in bone cutting, including osteotomes, chisels, gouges and tampers.</dc:description>
