Norman presents four patients and talks to them at length, he uses their cases to illustrate various aspect of mental disorder including mania, maniacal exaltation, delusions of graduer, secondary and senial dementia. Norman states that secondard dimentia is 'the goal of all uncured mental disease. A manuscript note gives the patients' names [and case numbers]. 27 March 1906
