DescriptionThis is a jar containining Sodium Bromide. Based on the white typewritten label in black ink, and its white powder content, it contains Sodium Bromide, with the dosage indicated as "Sodii Bromid. Dose: 5-30 grs."
The bottom of the jar is embossed with "W" and "2OZ".

Sodium Bromide was historically used as a sedative and anticonvulsant, commonly prescribed to calm the nervous system and treat conditions such as epilepsy and anxiety. It was also used to alleviate symptoms of nervous disorders and insomnia. While its use has declined due to the development of more effective and safer medications, it played a significant role in early medical treatments for these conditions.
