Valeriana Dispert was a herbal sedative and anxiolytic, commonly used to promote relaxation, relieve nervous tension, and aid sleep. The pills contained a dry extract from the root of Valeriana officinalis (valerian root), known for its calming effects on the nervous system. They were typically taken in doses of one to three pills as needed. While valerian remains in use today in modern herbal medicine, formulations and dosages have evolved over time.
